Griaz reached the top of the hill and crossed over. He had left his large army in a clearing next to the woods, a half mile away. He saw his demons fleeing the battle, stumbling and crashing into each other, as if blinded. He told his small patrol to stop and wait for them. They came, some wounded from the battle, but not all of them gone. "Report." He yelled. One stepped forward and said, "We, we were fighting your majesty and a cloud of black smoke fell over us. W

we didn't know what to do, so we kept fighting. Then a bright flash blinded us, so we retreated. We do not know what it was. We cannot get through a barrier that is there." Griaz dismissed them to go to the infirmary tent.

(sorry. i can't read, hardy har har....)
Griaz called his captains to his war tent. They looked scared, but they hid it like any real demon. "Captains, we have an interesting situation. We do not know what this black cloud and explosion are, or who or what they came from. Our magicians are working on it at the capital. I say we wait the humans out. This is not a big village, and it's near the road to the human capital. We can conquer it and use it for our base. I have several combat units out looking for rogue demon tribes that might aid us in our quest. Our war has begun." He paused, letting the words sink in. "Report to me every day about your weapons and troops. That is all."

Griaz dismissed his captains from his tent. He then hurried over to his table where a fresh batch of bird was roasting. He took it off the spit and bit into it.

"Well there's not much we can do right now..." Adalin told them. "They need rest. We need food and alot of healers... and I think all the mages and wicans need to rest and regain energy." she said sitting down exhausted. "I need a report on how many we've lost so far..." she said but didn't get a reply cause she had fallen asleep.
(Just pretend we were back with everyone else...)

Selina also sat down. She didn't need to sleep, just sit. Somehow it worked kind of like sleep for her.

(someone write something...)
Once Adalin had gotten the sleep she needed to get her energy back she got up and went to a different man. "Can you round up the mages and tell me how many are wounded and dead?" the man nodded eagerly and sped off. She then went over to a healing tent. Inside was a pregnant woman. "I tried to fight but I couldn't walk I'm so sorry." Adalin held up a hand. "It's alright I didn't expect pregnant women to fight... who told you you had to?" "My husband." Adalin shook her head. "He said if I didn't I would have to suffer the consiquenses..." Adalin sighed. "Who's your husband?" "Andrew Wilcus." "Thank you." She left the tent dissaproving of Mr. Wilcus.
